![]() I just have a setup for 1 player, so I can't test that, but it appears that is how this is working. If you have retropie setup for "two gamepads", all you need to do is add two PC MOUSE, set the buttons for the MOUSE in player 3 and 4 from retroarch.cfg, and when "superscope" is selected for them in the emulator, they should work there. then it appears the "PC MOUSE" is assigned on the fly based on its button assignments from "retroarch.cfg", and the SNES emulator, otherwise assigns this on the fly, when "superscope" is selected (it will detect the mouse on the fly, but, if the buttons aren't set in "retroarch.cfg", it will only read the cursor, it won't be able to call the buttons, it may be hardcoded to look for values only in there also). Some buttons or devices don't work like that. It was a good idea, but the "per-game custom buttons", doesn't seem to identify the mouse. Also, the PC MOUSE, same setup probably works on PS1. This way you don't have to edit the global file "retroarch.cfg", I only did that as an easy, quick example. The "rapid fire" button never worked that way, but other buttons have. (after that, if you don't want the grey launch box there, remove it from options). ![]() You can add those entries as custom buttons on a "per-game basis" from the grey launch box. Good Luck All Finished (the wii mote, can be used as a gun, if it detects as a mouse for snes PGO version, remember the PGO version plays snes games better, some games like starfox that use the FX Engine, need lr-snes2010, but I didn't confirm that, you need to test it) (don't have a wii mote, or other, this is purely to see if it works, just use your PC Mouse! no expensive addons, no scams!) (start button works on gamepad 1 to get to the main menu on some games, get past transition screens) (your gamepad for controller 1 is always plugged in, remember these settings are for player 2 (player 3 or 4 can use PC mouse also, I only tested this setup specifically, so, don't about about the rest) Tested on the "SUPER SCOPE 6" games for snes, works great. (in case you don't know, "retroarch.cfg" is stored in "/opt/retropie/configs/all/" from FTP on your PC/computer) (instead of "wu" for wheel up for the start button, it will be "3" if you press the center mouse button or toggle) (maybe different for different mouse?) Input_player2_gun_start_mbtn = "3" (wheel press, this change the modes on the title screen for some games) ("User 2 Gun Start") Input_player2_gun_aux_b_mbtn = "wu" (wheel up-center mouse, turns "TURBO" mode on or off, automatically on for some games) (User 2 Gun Aux B) Input_player2_gun_aux_a_mbtn = "2" (right click for, bomb select, or to bring up cursor, depends on game) ("User 2 Gun Aux A") ![]() Input_player2_gun_trigger_mbtn = "1" (left click pc mouse fires) ("User 2 Gun Trigger") (USE, the main menu for retropie and go to retroarch, then, press button on gamepad, to bring up button config, then press mouse for settings below) If you want to edit the "retroarch.cfg" file manually for the mouse then change these settings restart the retropie with the, pc mouse, plugged in, don't plug it in after it is already powered) (don't unplug and replug the PC MOUSE, when it is powered on, or you need to restart the retropie, for it to detect properly) Go to the main menu and select "retroarch/settings/input" in player 2, hold the left click button, on the gun trigger option (press a button your gamepad, to bring up the button selection box, then press a, pc mouse, button) (IF YOUR PC MOUSE DOES NOT DETECT. Leave your Gamepad plugged in, you add your PC MOUSE to the retropie, at game launch from the grey box option select "lr-snes9x-PGO", after your in game, bring up the "quick menu"/controls/ and select "SUPERSCOPE" for player 2, you can now see your PC MOUSE move the cursor around. (the snes9x emulators are not setup to have "superscope input" for controller 1) opt/retropie/libretrocoresįor number 2 above use the, "File Manager", from the main retropie menu, first copy the folder "lr-snes9x-PGO", into your "gbc" gameboy color rom folder, from FTP, so you can move it from the file manager options.įrom "File Manager", go te on the left side of screen, "/retropie/roms/gbc/", make sure just "lr-snes9x-PGO", the folder, is highlighted, and then press F5 on keyboard, then type "/opt/retropie/libretrocores/" and press enter. Transfer the files/folders, to the path listed on the folder name:ġ. First - You need to Transfer these files, so you an have "PGO" version of "lr-snes9x", and regular version installed at the same time.
